In the Fall of 2017, the IU Bloomington campus started releasing a weekly news "roundup" of stories produced IU Communications' internal and external news teams. The social media team takes a handful of stories and repurposes them as an Instagram "story," where viewers can then swipe up to go to the accompanying newsroom webpage for more information. The series runs Thursdays when class is in session. 

Results

The videos have, at times, contributed upwards of nine percent of total web traffic to the entire IU Newsroom site, and they rountinely draw several thousand views from our Instagram following, which consists largely of students.
